Breathe


Just felt like playing with a little Black and White today.  


Has anyone ever reminded you to do this?

Sometimes when playing tennis, I think I get so involved in my shots, I actually find that I'm holding my breath.   I've even been told by a coach "don't forget to breathe through your shots!"  
Amazingly enough, when I remind myself to do this while playing, I really play so much better! 
Lately, I've been feeling a little overwhelmed, stressed, & worried. 
It helps to remind myself to just breathe!
I know you must experience those times in your life too, so what do you find helps you when you get stressed out?

I don't play tennis- but I understand-sometimes I notice I'm not 'breathing'!
Time to stop and smell the roses too :)

When I'm stressed I generally go out into our porch, it is very calming there...of course with winter coming on... Remembering to breathe evenly helps me to fall asleep really quickly! Great photos, Becca!

I cannot juggle many balls and get very stressed. So try to deal with one thing at a time and not to take on other peoples problems. Great black and white shots.

I love these black and whites. When I get stressed I take the dogs for a walk and take my camera and just click away and then I find I have stopped thinking about all the crap in my head and I am thinking about all the lovely things around me I only see through a camera lens. Hope you feel better soon.

I follow the advice of the book The Power of Now...figure out what needs to be done to get to where I want to be and take it one step at time...

I constantly have to remind myself to take a deep breath. I catch myself holding it especially at work when I am stressed it is awful. Air is so important!!

Twice every single day, I do yoga stretching. It balances things out for me.

I take Pilot for a long walk or I have a glass of wine lol !

Yes, remembering to breathe when feeling stressed out is good. Laughing works too, and sometimes crying also. Exercise is another outlet as well as regular doses of creative activity. Maintaining balance is key.
