A weekend project
Thank you all for your lovely messages on my last post.
I will be fine. I like to express my emotions through music, art & photography, so thank you for letting me share that with you. It's part of who I am.
Something that makes me happy and keeps me relaxed and my mind distracted (other than yard work I've discovered over the last two days) is stitching.
This is an old project that I dug out of the closet and decided this is just what I need this weekend to keep my mind busy with "fun" things.
I love this because I can take these little birds and work on them while watching something on TV with the hubby, or just hanging out in my craft room.
This is a little ceramic tray I bought while visiting a little store in Seattle that I just love.
I didn't realize until my last visit that they are only in Seattle, but you can check out there web site, or if you ever visit Seattle, do drop in, it's a feast for the senses!
Lots of crafty goodness!
Even if you don't buy anything here it's a place that certainly stirs up your inspiration.
Finally, some vintage looking lace I found at an antique store. I haven't decided what I will create with this yet.
It's overcast here in Las Vegas, but the temperatures are pretty mild this week, so it's a perfect time for us to get outside and put up some Christmas lights.
Our tree is already up and decorated, so I will hopefully get some photos of it soon.
I am so thankful for all of my wonderful blogging friends out there! It's amazing how through this little part of the internet we can express our thoughts, share art and make friends.
Have a great weekend everyone,
Becca

That vintage lace is to die for oh my! I can't wait to see what you create with it.
You have to move closer so you can teach me all these stitches. I love the photos of the craft store it just gets me going!
