Stamp n Stitch

Hello friends.
It's a lovely day outside today.
Cool of course, but sitting in the sunshine felt wonderful!

I wanted to enjoy this windless, sunshine today so I was trying to think of a project I could take outdoors that would be relaxing and easy.

Since I already had a small piece of muslin that I stamped on,
I simply added a bit of color with my watercolor pencils.

Then, only a few embroidery stitches with some autumn colors to add interest.

When it's one of those beautiful weather days and you don't want to be cooped up inside, but you feel like being creative, try a little
 "Stamp n Stitch!"

I haven't decided what this will be yet.
Sometimes just a small piece is all you need for a little inspiration. :-)

I hope the sun is shining in your part of the world!

Glad you are enjoying your beautiful fall weather. Nothing like sitting out in the sun to make one feel good about life.
This looks lovely...if you love to stitch...go to theflossbox blog...she shows alllll kinds of stitches and had a Summer Stitch School and now shows an Autumn Stitch School. No sun here today...a really low and thick as green pea soup fog alllll day. But that is autumn in Germany.
Have a great rest to your Wednesday.
It was lovely here, too. I had too many errands to run to fully appreciate the beauty of the day, but I was really excited to see that beautiful piece of muslin. Watercolor pencils? Did you add water after you used the original pencil color? Not sure I asked that right, but I really love the subtle colors you got. And of course, that thread is so colorful.
It is shining...and you just made it brighter!

We had a cold front move through today so the wind was just wild! But tomorrow we are supposed to get some of your sunshine but chilly also.

Your little piece there is beautiful. I had never thought of watercolor pencil on fabric... so beautiful. I need to learn to embroidery one of these days!

We had a beautiful day here too almost 70. Nothing like feeling the sun on your face while you create. Sweet leaf and I like how you store you embroidery thread around clothespins. Pretty all by itself. xox Corrine

This looks so lovely.... I wanted to see the whole picture though.. maybe when you are done?? It is a beautiful day in my part of the world too - but too cold to be creating outside, so I look at it through the window!

Very pretty. I love the muted fall colors. We had our first snow today, so no working outside for me. I have been practicing crocheting flowers while watching TV though. Thanks for the link.
