A day in "the life"

Hi friends!  How is your weekend going?  Mine is wonderful, but going by way too fast!  Of course, that's always the case when you're on holiday and doing the things you enjoy right?
Yesterday, we spent the day walking around Pike Place Market  Just seeing all of the fresh flowers, vegetables,  and seafood is overwhelming and exciting!  I can't imagine living here in Seattle and having this available to me everyday!

Of course...hydrangeas to tempt me and tease me, making me think I could grow them in the desert soil at home.

If you're a lover of seafood, this place is a haven.  Fresh Dungeness crab is a favorite here.

The fishmongers here keep the crowd entertained by throwing the fish around.  Can you see that slimy, ugly fish hanging off the side?  It has a sign that says "I'm a monk fish, smell my bad breath" and as soon as some unsuspecting soul goes up to it to smell, it's attached to a rope and it flops up and scares the heck out of you! (not that I've ever done that before).

I love all the neon signs and places to eat right on the water.  One of our favorite places is Ivar's.

No shortage of antique places here.

Taking the ferry over to Bainbridge Island is a beautiful way to see the city from the water.

Finally, watching the sun go down from the roof top deck of where you are staying...priceless.

Thanks for visiting my long post of my stay in Seattle.  I get carried away with the photos.
Hope you're enjoying your Sunday evening.
For now...Becca

Seattle looks like such a beautiful city, Becca! I would like to visit it someday! Your photos are pure eye candy!!
What wonderful photos. Brings back memories. We went to Seattle several years ago and I was so amazed at all the fresh flowers and how cheap they were and all that seafood. Some of those fish are quite scary looking.
That looks like a wonderful place to visit..or live! You're really seeing some beautiful sites! Love the flowers...and the Pinot Noir is one of my favorite wines! Enjoy! ♥
