A Little Romance

Still practicing my skills in PSE9.
I was going for a romantic feel this time.

(A Wink and a Smile performed by Harry Connick Jr.)

I am linking up this week to Lisa Gordon's
The Creative Exchange.
Head over to see more photography entries "with heart"
(Thanks Lisa!)

Here's a movie that makes me cry every time I watch it.

"Sleepless in Seattle" (1993)

Tri-Star Pictures
“It was a million tiny little things that, when you added them all up, they meant we were supposed to be together … and I knew it. I knew it the very first time I touched her. It was like coming home. .. only to no home I’d ever known … I was just taking her hand to help her out of a car and I knew. It was like … magic.”
—Sam (Tom Hanks)

I kind of feel that way about the city of Seattle too..."It was like magic."

Do you have a favorite, romantic movie or scene that makes you cry every time you watch?
Do share! :-)

Have a lovely week!

Wow - these photos and your processing are gorgeous, fantastic! I also love Sleepless in Seattle. There are several films that make me cry - just can't think of anything specific as I have Sleepless in Seattle in my mind...

love these soft dreamy photographs, love that blue hydrangeas and oh yes, sleepless in seattle makes me cry but not as much as stepmom, oh that one is just so heart wrenching. My favourite is still 'you've got mail', soppy and lovely and at one stage I wanted to be Meg Ryan....

I am speechless Becca! These photos are amazing! I was in this little town beside mine today Chemanius and it is a real artisan hub. The one store carries greeting cards made from local artists and all I can say is its too bad this store can't see these photos! These would be awesome cards.
I have to do a post on this neat town. It is known as the town of Murals and bronze statues.

Just about all romantic movies make me cry even commercials...I am such a sap! I love the movie Finding Neverland with Johnny Depp it makes me cry eveytime! This movie is really unheard of but it is the true story of the man who created Peter Pan...a real sad love story!
Lovely creations... I can see your heart in them :-)

Sleepless, yes, & YGM... both have "that moment" when I fall to pieces.

Wow, just beautiful. They would make the prettiest scrapbook paper. Only I don't think I could cut them up. That's one of my favorite movies, too. And speaking of Harry Connick, Jr. another favorite is HOPE FLOATS. Have a wonderful week!

GORGEOUS photos, Becca! I don't think there's a romantic movie out there that doesn't make me cry LOL! I am a true sap... I even cry at commercials! Last night's Hallmark Hall of Fame Movie with Betty White-
The Lost Valentine- got me going big time...

I love your Shotzie & Fetzer on the side bar. :) I also adore your applications to your photos. I have yet to learn how to do this. I have the tools, just need to find the time. Nice work!

These photos are so warm and inviting with whispers of dreamy romance.
Fabulous shots Becca. I have just installed the PHSE9 on my new mac. Totally lost, having come from a PC and an other version of Elements. I cannot get the texture to fit the picture, do not know what button to use, the old way was to use the move tool. But as far as I can see this does not work on the Mac. So, I am still plodding along. I endeavor to your creative level.

"Out of Africa" its the soundtrack that does it for me every time I watch it I cry my eyes out. Don't know anything about photoshop but the effects you are making are lovely.
These images are just beautiful -- they have such lovely dreamy quality to them. Did you say you were just learning? just wonderful.

Harry Connick Jr. = Romantic.

And, now, I'm all soppy because of that sweet quote from 'Sleepless in Seattle!' =]
