Crochet and Stones

Still messing about with

Crochet and Stones.

I still haven't quite mastered the "crocheted stone look" yet.
I'm still working on my crochet stitches.

I do get frustrated when I can't accomplish what I want right away.

But for the most part, crochet is comforting and the stones remind me of the sea.

Yes, that's Lucy's paw.

I've been getting together with old friends,  having some laughs, sharing memories and saying good-bye.

The calendar is full.

The "packers" will be here Thursday.
The "loaders" and big moving truck will be here Friday.
The "crazy cat lady," 3 kitties, and dear husband leave on Saturday.

Wishing you a fun filled weekend, and a very Happy Mother's Day to all!

Becca

It's a little like reliving our recent move...makes me tear up when I read the part of saying goodbye to old friends...such changes in your life.

Bet you can't wait to get there, and get unpacked. Have a smooth move.

Looking forward to your arrival and hope you have a good trip! Your white crocheted piece makes me think of a starfish. While you were trying to conquer rocks, I was working on a shisha stitch....nearly killed my thumbs.
Oh I found you again!! Blogger changed and I missed a lot..Caught up today a bit..love the past post on the beaded bracelet, and all the lovely colorful photos you have shared.
I wish you luck with the move and hope all is packed safely. Wishing you patience on getting settled too.

It looks like a good portable project for this crazy time of moving and upheaval - but as with so many things, I guess it's harder than it looks! and your kitty is no help - except to maybe keep you smiling!

blessings on your move!
